    Whitefish Bulldog Football Thumps Ronan for Homecoming

    The Whitefish Bulldog Football team was back in action, Friday night, as they played host to Ronan for Homecoming.

    The Dawgs recorded three pick-6's in the contest, scored on a kick-return and routed the Chiefs 65-0 for the big homecoming victory.

    Whitefish scored on their opening drive, a 12 yard touchdown run by Luke Dalen.

    Cooper Akey would score the next two TD's: A pick-6, then a 43 yard TD reception.

    Jordan Harmon recorded a 23 yard pick-6, Whitefish added a safety and Vlad Shestak had a 60 yard kick-return for a TD, all in the 1st quarter.

    Whitefish led 37-0 after one quarter of play.

    Akey hauled in his 2nd TD catch of the game in the 2nd, Sam Rainford added a pick-6, his 3rd interception in his last three games and Whitefish was up big at the half, 51-0.

    Colt Moss and Vance Schwaiger each scored in the 2nd half.

    With the win Whitefish opens the conference slate of their schedule 1-0. They're now 3-1 overall on the season.

    Up Next: Whitefish hits the road for a contest at Polson.

    That game is scheduled for Friday October 3rd with kick-off at 7pm.
