The Whitefish High School Track and Field Teams were in Missoula over the weekend, participating in the MCPS Invite.
Missoula Hellgate would win the girls team title with Helena 2nd and Hamilton 3rd.
Helena High won the boys team title with Kalispell Flathead 2nd and Helena Capital 3rd.
Both Whitefish teams would finish middle of the pack.
It was the Simon Douglas show for the Bulldog Boys track team.
Douglas broke a 21 year old record in the 800, on Friday, in Missoula with a time of 1:54.43. Douglas beat the previous mark, set in 2004 by Matt Helgath, by a whole second.
Douglas would then take 4th in the 1600 with a time of 4:38.53.
Colby Minton would finish 3rd in the 400 with a time of 51.74.
On the girls side:
Rachael Wilmot continued her torrid start to the season, finishing 2nd in both the 100 and 200.
Ginger Bergland would win the 300 Hurdles and helped the 4x400 Relay Team take 2nd.
