The Whitefish High School Track team has officially begun practice in anticipation of the 2024 spring sports season.
Both Whitefish track teams sport a roster that should compete for a spot on the podium.
The Dawgs are coached by Willie Roche and have finished top 10 at the last three state meets, taking 3rd place in 2022.
The Lady Dawgs are coached by Matt Beckwith and have finished top 2, the last three years. They won State in 2022 and took second place last year, finishing just one point shy of a State Title.
This year both teams are hungry, eager and excited to get on the track and compete.
Today, hear from both head coaches as well as a trio of track athletes to get you set for the 2024 Track season.
The Whitefish Track teams officially begin their season on Saturday April 6th. They will be in Bigfork for the Bigfork Invite. Stay tuned to Bee Broadcasting your home for Whitefish Sports) for more on Whitefish athletics.
