
Whitefish High School has released the schedules for the 2025 Spring Sports Season.
The 2025 Spring Sports Season is officially underway.
Whitefish has four spring sports on their calendar: Baseball, Softball, Tennis and Track & Field.
The first baseball game of the season is scheduled for Tuesday April 1st. The Dawgs are set to open the season at home, playing host to Bigfork. First pitch is scheduled for 4pm with the contest to be played at Smith Fields.
Kyler Blades returns as Head Coach of the baseball team for his 3rd year at the helm.
The first Cat-Dog rivalry game is scheduled for Friday April 4th in Columbia Falls.
Whitefish will take part in the Missoula Baseball Showcase, at Ogren Park, April 18th and 19th.
The Sapa Johnsrud Invite is scheduled for May 16th and 17th.
All division champions will automatically qualify for the state tournament. The play-in games will be played either Saturday, May 17th, or Monday, May 19th, 2025, at the home sites of the #2 teams.
This year's Class "A" State Tournament takes place in Hamilton May 22nd through 24th.

The Whitefish Track & Field Team will get their season underway on April 1st, taking part in the Flathead Triangular at Legends Stadium.
Matt Beckwith and Willie Roche return as head coaches for the team. Beckwith is Head Coach of the girls while Roche coaches the boys.
Whitefish has a trio of home meets scheduled for this year.
The A.R.M. Invite is scheduled for Saturday April 26th. Whitefish will host a Triangular on Tuesday April 29th and the Last Chance Quad is scheduled for May 8th.
The Western "A" Divisional Tournament will be in Polson May 16th and 17th with State at Legends Stadium in Kalispell the following week.
The Tennis teams are also underway this season as well.
Chris Schwaderer once again is Head Coach of the boys team while Patrick Dryden coaches the girls.
The first event of the season is in Ronan and Bigfork on April 4th.
The first Cat-Dog match-up will be for the girls on Tuesday April 15th at Grouse at 12 noon. The Boys are home against C-Falls on April 29th.
The Northwest "A" Divisional Tournament is scheduled for May 15th and 16th in Libby with State in Billings.
Meanwhile, the Whitefish Softball team under the direction of head coach Dave Bennetts.
The Softball team will have five home games, this year (all at Smith Fields).
Their first home game is April 3rd vs. Libby.
They'll match up with rival, C-Falls, on Tuesday April 15th.
Th Class "A" State Softball Tournament will take place May 22nd through 24th at Columbia Falls.
