The Whitefish Basketball teams opened their season at the Western "A" Tip-Off Tournament, in Frenchtown, last weekend.
Both teams would come away with sweeps of their opponents.
On Friday, the Dawgs opened up against Corvallis.
The boys came away with a 68-53 victory while the girls won 51-31.
Leading scorers:
Will Sisson dropped in a team high for the boys, tallying 24 points. Cooper Dudley added 15 and Jayke Thew had 11.
For the girls, Freshman Avery Orme dropped in 20 points to lead the way.
On Saturday, both Whitefish teams played against Stevensville. The Boys won 76-48 while the girls were victorious 53-32.
Four players were in double figures for the boys, led by Sisson with 21. Dudle had 12. Leo Bungener and Finn Ryan dropped in 10 each.
No stats for the girls game against Stevi have been released.
Both teams open the season 2-0.
Up Next: It's the home opener for the Whitefish Boys Basketball team, as they play host to Frenchtown, Tuesday night. Girls are on the road.

"Please join us to support the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation next Tuesday, 12/16 at the boys Varsity basketball game vs Frenchtown. Please bring a new unwrapped teddy bear or other stuffed animal to toss onto the floor at half time. The Kalispell Marine Toys for Tots will be there to accept the donations. We are excited to partner with our local chapter of Toys for Tots for this fun event."
