The Whitefish High School baseball team is back on the diamond as they prepare for the 2026 season.

The Dawgs are coming off a 2025 campaign that saw them go 13–5 overall and 10–4 in conference play. Whitefish missed out on the postseason for the first time since baseball became a high school sport in 2023.

While the Dawgs graduated five seniors a year ago, they reload with a talented junior class that looks to live up to the hype.

Whitefish enters the season hungry, knowing everything must be earned.

Only the top team in the conference earns an automatic berth to state, while the next two teams must battle through a play-in round—and the North Conference is no cakewalk.

Whitefish finished fourth in the conference last season. Columbia Falls claimed the league title, with Bigfork and Eureka finishing second and third.

Polson will also be a tough matchup, while Noxon and Libby have both shown the ability to compete.

As the Dawgs prep for the 2026 campaign hear from Whitefish's two senior Reed Boyer and Tait Orme, as well as Head Coach Kyler Blades to preview the season ahead.

The Whitefish Bulldogs open their season Friday with a conference road trip to Bigfork. The Dawgs’ first three games of the season are all conference matchups.

You can catch the call live on Outlaw Country. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.
