David Lautaret aka Brother Dave was born and raised in the Whitefish where he pursued his passions in music and interpretive belly dancing.

He quickly learned the market for male belly dancers with arthritic hips was already tapped so he decided to focus on playing guitar and singing. He spent his college years in Oklahoma then a decade in Portland honing his Indie-folk singer-songwriter style.
Now living back in his home state with a family of his own he performs solo shows as well as with his band Brother Dave and The Family in Town which consists mainly of his sisters Lori and Rachel and his brother-in-law Jason as well as any other family members who happen to be in town on that particular day. It’s all very fun and exciting.
